Job description

Are you passionate about teaching and digitalization of education? Can you motivate and teach our students in finding answers in the area of quantum mechanics, spectroscopy and organic structure elucidation? Are you holding a PhD degree in spectroscopy or physical/theoretical aspects of chemistry? Then we are looking for you!
The position is shared between the labs of Biophysics and Organic Chemistry.

Our chair groups are responsible for teaching a wide range of courses at Wageningen University. These include introductory and advanced courses on quantum mechanics, spectroscopy and structure elucidation of organic compounds. The introductory courses are given to 100 - 250 students per year, while the advanced courses focus on smaller groups (10 - 30 students). For both small-scale and larger scale courses we are aiming to further improve the level of our teaching by further digitalization. The position therefore encompasses roughly 50% teaching and course coordination, and 50% course development.
