We are looking to employ a Lecturer in data protection and privacy law, a person who shares our commitment to collegiality and excellence in executive education and applied research. We are seeking to employ a person with a strong teaching and research profile to complement our existing team. The successful candidate will contribute to the international profile and standing of the ECPC, which is one of the Maastricht University’s highly successful training and research centres. The position is open to those with an expertise in data protection and privacy law.
As an ECPC Lecturer, you will deliver teaching in postgraduate modules in appropriate subject areas and will supervise master dissertations. The main part of your teaching activities will be oriented towards executive education programmes and the Advanced Master in Privacy, Cybersecurity, Data Management and Leadership, which is designed for professionals. Moreover, as a lecturer and ECPC team member, you will be expected to develop and coordinate new executive training courses and as such expand the education curriculum of ECPC. You will also serve as a subject matter expert and conduct applied research in the field of Data Protection and Cybersecurity. The position offers considerable space for personal initiative and fulfilment.
In the view of the above, it should be noted that the teaching/research ratio is approximately 80/20.
