What will you do?
Working at a service desk is an extremely varied job. You talk directly with users and answer as many questions as possible yourself. You give users confidence that the question or problem is in good hands. You are knowledgeable about current technologies as well as UM processes.
Our self-organising ServiceDesk team includes full-time colleagues as well as student employees. Together, you staff both the ICT back office and the two ICT front offices in the city centre and in Randwyck.
You provide services to students, lecturers, researchers and support staff, making a direct contribution to our primary processes of education and research.

You have an excellent command of oral and written English. You are willing and able to learn Dutch so that you can converse with colleagues and clients on work-related topics;
Your personality:
You enjoy helping people. You are enthusiastic, creative and proactive, have strong communication skills and work well in a team. You are curious, detail oriented and focused on achieving results. You are eager to learn, as demonstrated through independent study and certifications. In addition, you are able to identify areas in which you could improve and make concrete proposals for how to do so.
