Project manager EuroTeQ Campus

at the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). This university is a partner in an alliance of leading European universities of science and technology that stated an international study program to jointly shape the engineering education of the future. This 'EuroTeQ Engineering University' will be open not only to students enrolled at the partner universities but also to vocational learners and engineers who are interested in life-long learning.

The EuroTeQ initiative emerges from the EuroTech Universities Alliance, a strategic partnership of Technical University of Denmark (DTU), École Polytechnique (L'X), Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), Technical University of Munich (TUM) as well as Ecole Polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. For this project, Eurotech has brought two other strong partners on board: Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) and Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU, please see euroteq.eu).





The EuroTeQ plan consists of six work packages. TU/e will take the lead in the work package called Build the EuroTeQ Campus.

This work package is at the core of the other work packages and will be your main task. Under the supervision of the TU/e - program manager, you will have numerous contacts with project managers, IT-specialists, and experts on didactics at TU/e and the other universities. You will assist in the planning, implementation with the project groups and members, monitoring, and reporting of the various projects that make out the EuroTeQ Campus and help the program manager to maintain progress in the program as a whole. You will also guard consistency in the plans in relation to the TU/e program.

To take on this challenging job the following characteristics apply to you:

• You are at home in international settings, are familiar with the world of universities, and you are used to working in a politically driven environment;
• You have ample experience in running projects, are familiar with running programs, and you combine a businesslike attitude with analytical skills;
• You have experience in translating educational needs to technical functionalities and know your way in the world of educational IT- systems;
• You have a strong affinity with technical and scientific subjects and with innovations in (online) education;
• You have a Master's degree in preferably Business Administration or Business Engineering;
• You have a minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience with ICT in Higher Education.

We are offering a 1.0 FTE appointment. Depending on experience and education, the salary for a full-time contract ranges between € 3.746,- and € 5.127,- gross per month (salary scale 11 - 12 CAO Dutch Universities). The TU/e offers a broad package of fringe benefits, for instance a year-end bonus of 8.3%, holiday allowance of 8% and excellent sport facilities.

We are offering a temporary appointment for a period of one year. The employment contract may be extended in the event of good performance and if the financial conditions remain the same for two years. Most likely, the appointment will be via EUFLEX (TU/e secondment agency).
