Team manager
Are you the manager with strong analytical and organizational skills? Are you interested in financial, group, human resources and educational processes? Then you could be the team manager for our Animal Production Systems group of Wageningen University & Research. We would like to get in contact with you.

The Animal Production Systems (APS) group of Wageningen University & Research is looking for a team manager to support our day-to-day processes, including financial, human resources and educational processes. Your responsibilities as team manager include;
  • providing support for the financial process of the group (e.g. preparing and attending budget meetings, creating financial overviews, tracking and reconciling costs and benefits of our group, supporting financial paragraphs in project proposals);
  • supporting recruitment and selection of personnel in the group (e.g. managing selection processes and arranging new appointments or other changes in group personal);
  • supporting our overall and educational processes (e.g. preparing/reporting daily management meetings, staff meetings, administrative work related to course coordination).
Do you have a strong analytical and organizational background and are you interested in financial, group and human resource processes, we would like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help maintain our group's financial and human health, and support us in the coordination of our courses.

Requirements

Requirements
  • You have at least a BSc degree in, for example, finance, organizational or human resource management.
  • You have a minimum of 3 to 5 years work experience as a manager, finance assistant, finance officer, human resources manager or similar role.
  • You have good knowledge of financial procedures.
  • You have experience and get easily acquainted with supporting software.
  • You have superior interpersonal, communication, negotiation and collaborative skills.
  • You have strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • You have affinity with education.
  • You are fluent in written and spoken Dutch and English.

Conditions of employment

A challenging position with, depending on your experience, a competitive salary from a minimum of € 2920,- to a maximum of € 4.402,- for a full working week of 38 hours in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement of Wageningen University (scale 9 or 10). An appointment of 0.8 FTE is negotiable.

Using concepts of systems analysis, we aim at providing integrated analysis of existing and innovative animal production systems to design a sustainable food future.
