The Erasmus University Rotterdam has recently started with a comprehensive Academic Outreach and Advancement Programme as one of the ways to implement our new strategy “The Erasmian Way, Creating Positive Societal Impact”. The goal of this programme is to increase the proportion of young people from underrepresented groups attending higher education, and to improve and support their wellbeing and success at university.
The programme exists of several Action Lines. The Academic Outreach and Advancement Programme is part of the D&I Office, in close cooperation with the Student Well-being Programme, the Erasmus Science Hub that introduces school children to science and research, and the Erasmus Ambassadors Office that provides study information to secondary school pupils.
