The Cellular Protein Chemistry (CPC) section is seeking applications. Post-docs, PhD students, and Technicians in our laboratory work independently, but in teams on projects in the field of molecular cell biology and biochemistry. This project is in collaboration with international academic partners, a pharmaceutical company and a patient organization. You will work on folding and transport of (mutant) CFTR protein in mammalian cells and in cell-free assays. Using structure-inspired biochemical assays you will explore oligonucleotides and nanobodies as candidate therapeutics for cystic fibrosis.

• a PhD degree in biochemistry, molecular cell biology or a related field;
• a strong scientific drive and affinity with our research;

• a good command of the English language.

• a position for three years;
• a full-time gross salary ranging from €2,790 to €4,402 in scale 10;
