What you’ll be doing
You will be part of the team of research data experts. As such you will be deployed in various DANS projects and activities. A considerable part of your activities will take place in the context of the many European projects in which DANS participates. In terms of content, DANS project activities are mostly focused on FAIR and open data, long-term archiving of reusable data, and repository certification. The position is a varied one. You will have a great deal of international contacts and be involved in training courses.
You have completed your academic education and possess substantive knowledge in the relevant field. You are motivated, pragmatic, and focused on results and collaboration. You can switch quickly and interact well with others. You are also a good writer and have a thorough command of the English language; proficiency in Dutch is an asset. You are knowledgeable about and demonstrably experienced in the following:
Your gross monthly salary will amount to max. € 4,402 (Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch universities/KNAW, scale 10) on a full-time basis, excluding 8% holiday pay and 8.3% year-end bonus. The temporary appointment will be for one year, with the option of extension.
Data Archiving and Networked Services (DANS-KNAW) is the Netherlands institute for permanent access to digital research resources.
