This position contributes to the Institute of Public Administration’s ambition to further strengthen its education and research in this area. We are looking for candidates with a background in public administration, organizational psychology, or a comparable field. Demonstrable affinity with the policy domains health or welfare is an advantage. The new colleague will be positioned in the Public Management and Leadership research group and will be affiliated with the Leiden Leadership Centre, a platform for research and education in the field of public leadership. The research group is dedicated to team-based science and impact. It has excellent working relationships with other groups and disciplines, among which the Academic Medical Centre (LUMC), and actively seeks collaboration with public management practice.
Key responsibilities
The appointment will be under the terms of the Collective Labour Agreement (CAO) of Dutch Universities. You will be offered a temporary appointment for 18 months. Depending upon funding and performance, the position can be extended to a permanent position. The salary varies, depending on qualifications and experience, from € 3,807.- to € 5,211.- gross per month based on full-time employment (scale 11 for Assistant professor).
