Initially this will be under supervision, with more independence upon completion of the University Teaching Qualification. Furthermore, you will support colleagues in other courses when needed and will supervise project groups throughout each semester.  You will also have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge, to commit academic innovations and to build up a portfolio in the context of education for future employment in various fields (for example secondary education teacher, educational innovation or policy HBO/WO, or education professional in the business world). The trajectory focuses on personal development, development as a teacher and academic development. As standard in our faculty, junior teachers are offered an extensive training programme.   Your duties
  • You will design and provide lectures/tutorials for specific parts within content-related courses, e.g. modelling and programming, and mechatronics related courses such as 'Structural Dynamics', 'System Analysis' and 'Control Engineering'
  • You will support other lecturers by designing materials such as a course reader, giving lectures, or coordinating parts of a course (examples of courses included 'Project & Academic Skills' and 'Continuous assessment')
