Job description

The division of Experimental Psychology of the Department of Psychology at Utrecht University is recruiting a lecturer that teaches courses at the intersection of Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence as well as at the intersection of Cognitive Science and (Applied) Data Science. This position concerns a 100% teaching position. The position includes time for personal development, including the goal to obtain a basic teaching qualification.

This position concerns a full-time teaching position, where teaching mostly takes place in the Bachelor Artificial Intelligence, Master Artificial Intelligence, and Master Applied Data Science. The tasks consist at least of teaching working groups and supervising students of a subset of the above-mentioned degree programmes during their research projects. These projects should align with ongoing research programmes within the division, which is clustered in four domains: perception, social-affective processes, neuropsychology, and youth. Research at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Applied Data Science, and Cognitive Psychology is also taking place in connection to Utrecht University’s focus areas Human-centered AI and Applied Data Science, and in connection to Utrecht University’s strategic themes Institutions for an Open Society and Dynamics of Youth.
