Members of the Department of Cognitive Neuropsychology supervise students and teach a variety of modules at both Bachelors’ and Masters’ level and participate in the two-year Research Master Medical Psychology, covering a variety of significant topics from the neurosciences.
The Assistant Professor will work in the area of the Clinical or Cognitive Neuropsychology, and will conduct research (20% of the workload) and education (80% of the workload). The tasks are:
We expect the candidate to take courses to acquire the University Teaching Qualification (UTQ, in Dutch: BKO).
Fixed-term contract: 18 months.
We offer an employment contract for 18 months preferably starting in April 2022 during which you should show your competence in research and education. After a positive assessment of your performance this will be converted into a permanent contract. Depending on the candidates’ experience, the full-time salary for the position of an Assistant Professor on a full-time basis ranges between €3.821 and €5.230 gross per month based on scale 11 of the Collective Labour Agreement (CAO) Dutch Universities. The university will apply for such an allowance on their behalf. The university offers very good fringe benefits, such as an options model for terms and conditions of employment and excellent reimbursement of moving expenses. Researchers from outside the Netherlands may qualify for a tax-free allowance equal to 30% of their taxable salary.
