Available from 1st September you will strengthen the research capacity in our research strand on ‘Transnational public interests: constituting public interest beyond and below the state’ within our Research Agenda ‘Rethinking public interests in international and European law’.

Our offer
You will be appointed at the University of Amsterdam, Amsterdam Law School, and seconded to the T.M.C. Asser Instituut in The Hague.
We offer an employment contract for one year. Extension of the appointment is subject to satisfactory performance after the first year. The employment contract is for 38 hours a week.
Your salary, depending on your relevant experience, education and knowledge on commencement of the employment contract, ranges between €2,846 to €5,230 gross per month (scale 10/11 according to the Collective Labor agreement of the Dutch Universities) on the basis of a full working week of 38 hours. This sum does not include the 8% holiday allowance and the 8.3% year-end allowance. The Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities (CAO NU) is applicable.
The T.M.C. Asser Instituut is an internationally renowned research institute in the fields of international law and European law based in The Hague. The institute is affiliated with the University of Amsterdam.
