iTree 2.0 NL is a ClickNL funded project consisting of 30 partners spanning bio science, data science, local municipalities, design agencies and engineering firms. The project is led by via Dr. Rene van de Velde of TU Delft Faculty of Architecture and Dr. Rebecca Price of the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering. The project objective is to develop next-generation metrics and methodologies for urban forestry and climate resilience in Dutch cities. This Post Doc position will work in the 3rd work package. This workpackage aims to synchronize the technical potential of i-Tree as a tool for integrating the cooling performance and growth curves of urban trees to relevant stakeholder needs in urban Dutch environments. As Post Doc, you will work closely with Dr Rebecca Price to lead workpackage three and the delivery of the iTree 2.0 NL project overall. You will also be required do a small amount of teaching in the Master of Strategic Product Design course. The preferred start date for the postion is 01-10-2022. Your primary duties will be:
