The department of Industrial Engineering and Innovations Sciences (IE&IS) offers an (unpaid) guest position for a Ukrainian researcher who is currently located in the Netherlands to work on a subject related to our research group Human Performance Management.

Job description

As a visiting lecturer/researcher you will continue to do your own research, but you will also join the colloquia and research meetings that are organized by the Human Performance Management group and the university as a whole to learn about the research that others are working on. You will develop collaborations with researchers in the Human Performance group that lead to joint research publications and possibly joint project proposals or other research output.

You are also invited to contribute to courses in the Bachelor and Master Programmes of the School of Industrial Engineering and/or supervising Bachelor students for their final project. The specific courses that you may be involved in will depend on your own knowledge and expertise.

You will be embedded in the Human Performance Group in the department of Industrial Engineering and Innovation Sciences, but you may also collaborate with people from other disciplines in the department and the university as a whole. You will also benefit from our extensive international network of partner universities, research groups, and company contacts, with whom you might engage in joint research.

Requirements

  • PhD in organizational behavior, work & organizational psychology, social psychology, organizational science, management science or a comparable domain.
  • Ability to conduct academic research of high quality on current organizational topics, demonstrated by scientific publications in relevant journals.
  • Open to (multidisciplinary) collaboration.
  • Good communication skills, and good command of the English language (both orally and in writing).
