Grant Support at Tilburg University is looking for a grants officer, with a focus on individual research and education grants. As a grants officer, you support and advise researchers and lecturers at Tilburg University in the process of applying for funding for research or education projects. This support includes providing up-to-date information on grant calls, organizing (online) training sessions and providing detailed feedback on grant proposals.

Grant Support is the knowledge and expertise center on grants within Tilburg University, providing services for various funding schemes, both individual and collaborative grants from national and European funding agencies. The Grant Support team is composed of 10 colleagues. All colleagues have their own specific focus, be it individual or collaborative grants, specific funding schemes, specific schools or research communities. Your focus would be on individual grants, with opportunities to branch out in other directions that match your interest.
Grant Support is part of Tilburg University’s support network for research and education grants, together with the colleagues from other support units like Project Administration and Contract Management. As support network we work closely together with the Research Support Teams, the Vice-Deans for Research/Education and the Heads of Departments of our five Schools: Economics and Management, Law, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Humanities and Digital Sciences, and Theology. The position is 0.8 fte. We offer a year's employment with the prospect of a permanent contract of employment in case of excellent performance. The gross monthly salary depends on, among other things, age and relevant experience and amounts to a maximum of € 4.490 for a full-time employment contract (UFO position: Policy Officer, level 4 / scale 10). In addition, the university has excellent employment conditions, such as a good study facilities scheme and the possibility to determine your employment conditions partly individually by means of a so-called choice model.
