To apply for the position, candidates

• must have a university degree in business informatics, computer science or a comparable subject;
• they should also have a particular aptitude for in-depth academic work, usually demonstrated by an above-average doctorate.
• Moreover, the future incumbent is expected to have professional experience in the design, development, implementation and use of business information and communication systems, at least three years of which will have been gained outside of a university context.
• Experience in the application of IT enterprise architecture (enterprise architecture management) and IT service management would be desirable.
• Ideally, the incumbent will also have experience in the development of e-learning elements as well as the ability to conduct classes in English.

In all other respects, Section 25 of the Lower Saxony Higher Education Act (NHG) applies to the conditions governing the appointment.

Real-world experience is to be incorporated into teaching in an effort to foster an interest in business informatics among students. We work in interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary teams and use our rich laboratory environment to ensure application-oriented teaching and research.
