• A degree in (bio)statistics, epidemiology or a comparable discipline;
• The ability to work in an interdisciplinary manner with physicians and life scientists;
• And knowledge of statistical analysis systems (e.g. SAS or R) and epidemiological methodology.

DDZ

The German Diabetes Center (DDZ) is the Leibniz Institute for Diabetes Research at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. The DDZ is an interdisciplinary research centre linking molecular and cell biological basic with clinical and epidemiological research approaches. The DDZ has the aim to develop new approaches for prevention, early detection and diagnosis of diabetes mellitus and to improve therapy and treatment of its complications.
