The TU/e is in transition to an Azure Cloud integration and is looking for a typical back end .NET Developer with knowledge and affinity for application integration, who knows the subtleties of the ICT field.

We are looking for a new colleague for our team with experience in .NET, WCF, SQL (Oracle and MS SQL) and Visual Studio. Experience in SOAP, REST services working with XML, JSON  and Team Foundation Server are considered a big plus.

The position
As a .NET Developer, you are responsible for the design/innovation of TU/e middleware and its realization. In addition to the role of developer, together with a team of integration specialists, you are also responsible for managing the existing integration landscape and keeping it up to date. You develop/ design services in consultation with Services and Faculties in the field of business operations, education and research. You participate in larger projects as a .NET Developer. In addition, TU/e is is at the verge of the transition towards Azure Cloud with the integration platform. Knowledge about BizTalk is an advantage as well as knowledge of Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, API Management).

• Minimum education of a Bachelor degree;
• Strong and professional communication skills in English; and preferably also in Dutch;
• Back end development experience and more senior experience with .NET, WCF, SQL (Oracle and MS SQL) and Visual Studio;
• Motivated to develop yourself in BizTalk;
• Ability to independently translate Technical design into realization (in accordance with standard and guidelines);
• You can document and transfer the delivered solution (transfer of exploitation/management);
• Domain Driven Development, result oriented and team player.
