The project
The Postdoc will be responsible for the design, production and functional testing of intracellularly expressed antibodies, formulated as mRNA transfection vehicles and targeted at oncogenic signaling pathways involved in immune suppression or at spliceosome constituents. Ultimate aim is to enhance the immunogenicity of cancer and so support immunotherapy approaches.
The project is part of a research consortium, funded by the European Union Research and Innovation Actions: HORIZON-HLTH-2021-TOOL-06-02. The CANCERNA consortium brings together molecular biologists and immunologists from six countries in a concerted effort to exploit mRNA-based approaches and mRNA processing modulation in cancer immunotherapy.
