You are asked to support the lab infrastructure and research activities of the group. This includes designing, installing and maintaining (trouble shoot) facilities for evaluation of novel electrode compositions and morphologies, including cell (reactor) design, (mass flow) controllers for liquid/gas supply, pressure control, temperature control, swagelock lines, and lab VIEW programming. You are responsible for design and construction of optical reactors facilitating in situ analyses by IR, Raman, Fluorescence, and Transient absorption spectroscopy. You collaborate with TCO (the mechanical workshop at UT) on the design and construction of equipment. You are also in charge of the purchase and maintenance of analytical equipment, with focus on MicroGCs. Furthermore you are asked to support the installing and maintenance of gas bottles and gas safety devices. You utilize various software applications, such as for example AutoCad (flow diagram) / Solid Works / Pithon / LabVIEW and you are the contact for ICT solutions of the group.
