Job description

The position we offer:

We are looking for a researcher who will:

  • Participate in project teams
  • Support on the design and execution of cost-effectiveness studies
  • Perform country-adaptations for cost-effectiveness models
  • Design and perform interviews with relevant stakeholders
  • Review the scientific literature
  • Collect empirical data on outcomes and healthcare utilization
  • Program health-economic models
  • Contribute to the write-up and reporting of study results, study protocols, study analysis documents
  • (Co-)publish scientific work

Requirements

Who we are looking for:

  • An enthusiastic candidate with an MS degree (or equivalent) in healthcare policy and management, (health) economics, econometrics, biomedical sciences, biostatistics, Public Health, Epidemiology, or related
  • Prior experience related to health economics and outcome research (HEOR) and/or economic models is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent understanding of research methodology used in clinical research and HEOR is required
  • Demonstrable skills in quantitative research methods
  • Knowledge of Excel and/or R or other programming software
  • Proficiency in English and preferably in Dutch
  • Excellent communication skills and customer contact
  • Work independently, take initiative and meet deadlines

Conditions of employment

Fixed-term contract: a temporary contract of one year, with possibilities for extension.

What we offer

We offer a position as researcher at iMTA, preferably starting in October or November 2022. You will be offered a temporary contract of one year, with possibilities for extension.  Remuneration will be in accordance with scale 10 of the Collective Labor Agreement for Dutch Universities (CAO NU) starting from € 2,960 per month for a fulltime contract. In addition, we offer a generous amount of leave days and multiple opportunities for education.
