We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who has a genuine interest in anxiety disorders and a strong motivation to conduct experimental research.

Job description

The overall goal of the project is to improve the prediction of psychological treatment response using methodological transition models and tasks from the experimental psychopathology domain. The project is part of the NWO VIDI project awarded to Dr E. Salemink. Various studies are planned in which brief cognitive behavioural interventions targeting anxiety are preceded by an assessment phase that includes experimental tasks. The core tasks of the Postdoctoral Researcher include (jointly) designing studies, coordinating and supervising students in the context of data-collection, and publishing the results in international scientific journals. The project includes interactions with Dutch participants who experience anxiety symptoms. The possibility to combine this position with a teaching position at the Department of Clinical Psychology can be discussed (for example, 0.8 FTE research and 0.2 FTE teaching).
