QuTech and QuTech Academy

Job description

Join us as a junior project manager and help us grow the QuTech Academy. Your main responsibilities will be to manage independently several projects. To develop and ensure a smooth run of our communication/outreach platforms. This role will give you the opportunity to have versatile tasks and to grow in your role in the future.

Main Responsibilities but not limited to

  • Contributing to a successful planning, implementation and evaluation of our activities
  • Coordinating some of our projects with internal and external stakeholders
  • Developing communication and outreach material for QuTech Academy activities
  • Ensuring our outreach platforms, websites, and accounts are up-to-date and contain the right content

Requirements

  • A Degree in Business Management or Physics
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar position, where coordination of operational tasks were your main responsibilities.
  • Demonstrable experience in coordination of projects or in complex administration.
  • Hands on mentality, organized and ability to coordinate multiple tasks at the same time.
  • Interest in marketing and communications and knowledge/experience in various social media platforms
  • Proficiency in English is a must, Dutch is considered as beneficial
  • Eye for details and a resilient attitude
  • Intrinsic desire to learn and grow

Conditions of employment

Dutch citizenship or a European working permit is required to apply.

This position is a 0.8 – 1.0 FTE role, with a minimum of 32 hours per week and a maximum of 38 hours per week. We will offer a 1 year contract with the option to become structural. The UFO profile is Project Leader 2 or 1 depending on your experience with a full-time salary based on VSNU-CAO Scale 9 or 10 (salary min 3098 to max 4257) gross per month on a fulltime basis 38h per week.

On top of that, TU Delft/QuTech offers a great customizable compensation package with generous holidays (41 days off if you work full time), attractive pension scheme, holiday allowance in May and a 13th month pay (paid as a pro-rata bonus in December). We also offer a discount for health insurance, sport memberships, and a monthly work costs contribution. Flexible work schedules can be arranged. An International Children’s Centre offers our employees childcare and an international primary school. Salary and benefits are in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities (VSNU-CAO).
