Radboudumc
The Department of Pulmonary Diseases conducts international and innovative Tuberculosis (TB) research into (new) drugs for TB which, with 4,000 deaths per day, is still the most deadly preventable infectious disease in the world.
The
UNTE4TB project is the largest research project that the Radboudumc has ever coordinated and is financed from European funds (IHI) in cooperation with several multinationals. Its total budget is €185 million. The project has 29 partners receiving funding with more than 40 hospitals in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and South America.
