Job description

In this position you will support and develop university and professional education in the field of Safety in Healthcare, in close collaboration with the team of the Centre forn Safety in Healthcare. Topics we seek to cover are principles of safety science, ergonomics, learning from incidents, safety culture, behaviour and communication and safety as an integral component of organisations. Our current currculum comprises of education in the Bachelor phase of Clinical technology and the elective Master course Health Systems. In the near future it is expected to expand towards the Master in Technical Medicine, development of new courses aligned to the Health Systems course and we further expect to contribute to safety science education for care professionals and hospital board managers.

Requirements

- preferably UTQ or willing to obtain the University Teaching Qualification at TU Delft

- Excellent proficiency in Dutch (need to have), good English language proficiency

- Background in safety science, ergonomics or related knowledge, affinity or background in health(care)

- Passionate about education

- Being flexible and creative in this pioneering task

Conditions of employment

Fixed-term contract: 2 years.

Faculty Technology, Policy and Management

The Faculty of TPM provides an important contribution to solving complex technical-social issues, such as energy transition, mobility, digitalisation, water management and (cyber) security.
