Requirements

The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications. However, we encourage you to submit your application even if you don't meet all the requirements. Nobody is perfect!

  • A (close to completion) Ph.D. in robotics, mechanical engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing robotic systems, possibly but not necessarily including soft robots.
  • A strong publication record.
  • Experience in supervision.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

Conditions of employment

Salary and benefits are in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities (salary indication: € 3.703 - € 4.670 per month gross).
