Together with colleagues from the Center for Digital Scholarship (CDS) and the Leiden Digital Competence Center (LDCC), you help Leiden University to take the management and use of research data to a higher level. As a Data Management Expert, you contribute to ongoing activities, such as providing training and workshops, and you help to implement related services university-wide. You follow international developments closely and provide information to researchers and university administrators.

You will be appointed at the Center for Digital Scholarship (CDS), a department of Leiden University Libraries (UBL). The CDS provides services related to Open Science such as Open Access publishing, FAIR data, copyright, the application of digital methods and techniques in close collaboration with faculties and other organizational units. What we offer
The appointment takes place in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement of Dutch Universities. The duration of the contract is one year with the prospect of permanent employment. The salary, depending on education and work experience, is a maximum of € 5,439 gross per month (scale 11; full-time basis). In addition, Leiden University has good employment conditions. For example, there is an end-of-year bonus (8.3%), holiday allowance (8%) and the possibility to choose tailor-made employment conditions via a selection model. If the position allows it, there is the possibility to work partly from home. The university offers good facilities for this.
