With over 6500 students and 650 members of staff, Leiden Law School
is one of the largest faculties in The Netherlands. Yet, in all its diversity, it is still known for its ability to provide education on a small scale. The department of research consists of an enthusiastic team dedicated to facilitating research, so that researchers can excel. The team supports the Research Board and the Vice-Dean Research. The department is responsible for the organizational and policy support of research within the faculty. The staff also plays an important role in the organization of the PhD training, organized in the Graduate School of Legal Studies. Candidates will be appointed as Funding advisor, initially for a period of one year. A permanent appointment may be possible after the temporary term depending on performance and available budget. The gross salary depends on qualifications and experience, and ranges between € 4.332 and € 5.929 per month for a full-time appointment (salary scale 11 Dutch Universities Conditions of Employment).
