Job description

The Radboud University Medical Center (Radboudumc) in Nijmegen, The Netherlands, is seeking a Professor of Pediatric Urology. This position is vital for advancing clinical pediatric urology, research, education, and strategic networking. The role aligns with the hospital's strategy for expertise centers for rare diseases, international collaborations, and research innovations. The professor will be involved in clinical care, participate in the European Reference Network eUROGEN, and contribute to the Fellowship program of the European Board of Pediatric Urology (EBPU/UEMS).

The Professor of Pediatric Urology will be responsible for leading and advancing pediatric urology research, education, and clinical care within Radboudumc. This role involves a strong relationship with the Radboudumc Research Strategy and requires participation in the new horizontal research program within Amalia Children’s Hospital. The professor will play a crucial role in the strategic continuation of expertise and recognition on national, European, and global levels, directly aligning with the Radboudumc Strategy for Rare Diseases.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Pediatric Urologist (PhD, FEBU, FEAPU) with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. They will play a key role in developing and implementing innovative strategies for education and training, as well as maintaining and expanding national and international collaborations.
