Job description As the MBA Recruitment & Admissions Manager you are responsible for four aspects that are aimed at attracting students to RSM:
promotion,
recruitment, selection and yield enhancement.
You assist in the development of annual recruitment and admissions plans that result in attracting a large and diverse pool of the best and brightest students to RSM’s full time MBA degree programmes. You will do this in such a manner that it supports the realisation of strategic and programmatic enrolment targets and goals. In addition, you are responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of all activities related to recruiting and admissions for the full-time MBA programme.
You report to the Director of MBA Recruitment & Admissions and work in a team with MBA Recruitment & Admissions colleagues. You also work with various Marketing colleagues and Programme Managers. You interact with prospects, applicants, students, test prep centres, government agencies, financial agents and MBA fair providers around the world.
Some activities and responsibilities include:
- Maintain a steady flow of high-quality leads globally
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the RSM MBA portfolio
- Understand and anticipate client needs throughout the recruitment and admissions process
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the areas that pertain to MBA admissions – e.g. competitors, the higher education industry and the markets in which we recruit
- Build and nurture relationships with prospective and current students, as well as alumni
- Act as a trusted counsellor for prospective students providing the information they need to choose RSM
