Job description

Job description
The maritime sector faces significant challenges in electrification and energy transition, partly due to a general lack of electrical engineering expertise within the industry. To address this, the knowledge utilization aspects of the NWO projects “Survivable DC Power Systems for Ships” and “Maritime Batteries” are focused on developing specialized course materials for maritime electrification. This course development will involve three key tasks: i) Conducting an inventory of existing educational materials, ii) Identifying gaps and determining the additional materials needed, iii) Creating targeted course materials where the need is greatest.

The course materials will span various levels, including MBO, HBO, university programs, and professional development courses. They may be developed in written, online, or hybrid formats. Additionally, collaboration with the Human Capital Agenda of the Maritime Masterplan is essential to align educational efforts with broader industry goals.

  • Master’s degree (MSc) in Engineering, Education, or a related field.
