You will participate in the ILWIS team and focus on the development of educational materials to support our education in Earth Observation in our core modules. You will write tutorials for students in combination with carrying out user-oriented tests and recommending improvements to the software. 

Required qualifications:

• Higher Education degree or Intermediate Education degree in Geoinformatics or a related field.
• Experience as a geospatial analyst.
• Experience with testing of software.
• Proven experience on creating educational material.
• You have used ILWIS and similar packages in educational environments or for educational projects or for teaching.
• You are communicative and you can both work independently and in a structured manner and interact and integrate with a working team.
• A good command of written and spoken English.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with versioning and content management systems (like Github, bitbucket)
• Experience with Education Learning Environments and development of material for Distance Education.
• Be acquainted in the manners and style of an International Educational School/University of multiple student background.

The Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC) of the University of Twente provides international postgraduate education, research and project services in the field of geo-information science and earth observation using remote sensing and GIS.
