As a part of the Information Management & Consultancy (IMC) department, the development team works closely together with other departments by building and improving applications to support processes for students, staff, researchers and alumni.

Your day at RSM …
You travel to campus with public transport or by bike and start up your MacBook. You discuss yesterday’s projects and achievements, and get a coffee at the campus supermarket with your colleagues. You start working on your Jira issues and review code from your colleagues. You’ll have lunch together with the whole IMC department, or perhaps you ‘go out’ for lunch among students at the campus food court.
You continue with your coding and you end your day by joining one of your colleagues for a game of squash or some boxing at the Erasmus Sport Center.

The conditions of employment comply with the collective labour agreement for Dutch Universities (CAO NU). We offer a full-time contract, initially for one year with the option for extension if requirements are met.
Erasmus University Rotterdam has attractive employment conditions. Salary is subject to training and experience, and may vary from € 35,000 (scale 10 CAO NU) up to € 56,000 gross per annum (scale 11 CAO NU), based on a full-time contract of 38 hours. On top of that, you will receive a holiday allowance of 8 per cent, and an end-of-year bonus of 8.3 per cent.
You are also entitled to 41 days off (29 vacation days and 12 compensation days, based on a 40-hour work week), and will benefit from mandatory training, personal development and relevant conferences.
