Do high rankings excite you? Are you into strategies, processes and data? Then you might be the rankings officer who can develop and execute a strategy to improve our top business school’s ranking processes and data collection. In this part-time position, your job will be to organise the internal processes of ranking efforts of Rotterdam School Management, Erasmus University (RSM).
As a rankings officer you will report to the RSM dean of faculty, and:
identify, analyse and prioritise rankings in view of school strategy
optimise rankings processes and develop rankings database
analyse ranking methodologies and results
involve all departments and ensure management alignment
take the lead in managing and responding to incoming rankings
benchmark with other top business schools and universities.
The ideal rankings officer has:
educational level comparable to a Dutch university degree
some years of experience in a rankings position
experience in the higher management education market
excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and Dutch is an asset
the ability to take initiative and to work independently
analytical skills and data management knowledge
strong interpersonal skills to interact with various offices and stakeholders connected to RSM, and take action when needed
capability to develop and manage an efficient, up-to-date and accessible project plan
ability to work effectively on multiple ranking projects simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines
the attitude to be a service-oriented, friendly, hands-on and proactive team player.
The part-time position (0.4-0.5 FTE) is initially for one year, but has the potential to be extended. The conditions of employment correspond with the collective labour agreement for Dutch Universities (CAO NU).
Salary is subject to training and experience and may vary from a minimum of € 2,709 up to a maximum of € 4,274 (scale 10 CAO NU) gross per month, based on a full-time contract of 38 hours.
Flexible working hours are negotiable.
