 … within the Recruitment & Admissions Department (bachelor, pre-master and master programmes) of Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM).

RSM’s Recruitment & Admissions (R&A) department is a young and dynamic shared service department within BSc and MSc programme management at RSM. The R&A office aims to further increase enrolment by attracting a high-quality and international student body on behalf of the bachelor International Business Administration (IBA), two pre-master and 14 master programmes.

Your main tasks

The recruitment communications officerworks within a team of nine people and reports to the recruitment manager. You will support the recruitment manager in her day-to-day challenges to deliver against future targets in a continually changing environment.   

You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:   

  • co-ordination of recruitment representatives: around 40 bachelor and master ambassadors

  • co-ordination of (online) recruitment events and activities, for example e-fairs, virtual information sessions, open days

  • assisting with organisation of (online) recruitment activities

  • lead management through CRM (Microsoft dynamics)

  • updating various web pages and mailings

actively contributing to the continuous development of the recruitment process of new students.

Requirements

Education

Higher professional or academic degree. A degree in marketing is a plus. 

Required qualifications and competencies 

  • assertiveness and effective communication skills to successfully manage 40 bachelor and master students ambassadors

  • well-organised, detail- and result-oriented, accurate and efficient

  • flexible and an open mindset

  • manage various tasks and projects at the same time

  • strong client focus

  • anticipating and adjusting to change

  • demonstrable verbal and written communication skills in English (level C1 minimum). Knowledge of Dutch is appreciated.

  • prior working experience within higher education, especially with digital marketing, and the use of IT marketing systems such as CRM and Campaign Monitor is a plus.

Conditions of employment

The conditions of employment of Erasmus University Rotterdam comply with the collective labour agreement for Dutch universities (CAO NU). This position is a nine-month maternity leave cover and is based on a contract of 38 hours per week. We expect our new colleague to start on Monday 1 April 2019 and be available until 31 December 2019. Salary is subject to training and experience and may vary from a minimum of € 2,579 (scale 8) up to a maximum of € 3,895 (scale 9) gross per month, based on a full-time contract of 38 hours.

As the recruitment communications officer will mainly work at our Woudestein campus, we expect our new colleague to reside in or close to Rotterdam.
