The Radboud TechnoCentre is looking for an electronics engineer with a special interest in field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), to work on measurement and control systems.
As an Electronics Design Engineer, you will support students, postdoctoral researchers and other scientific staff in their research by providing technical advice and making concrete proposals. In cooperation with scientists, this may result in the design of instruments or even a complete measurement and control system. Designs can be at the PCB-level or at the system level using commercial solutions or a combination. You will be responsible for the whole procedure involving design, development and implementation.
As FPGAs are becoming increasingly popular in modern electronics design, you should at least have some basic knowledge and experience in FPGA design and be willing to develop yourself into an experienced designer and programmer of real-time embedded electronics as a sub-task.
