Lecturers within the department have a wide variety of teaching tasks including the tutoring of student groups, the grading of exercises and examinations and tutoring in skills trainings for students. Teaching activities are oriented towards the bachelor programs for economics and international business. Given the diversity of teaching activities, both applicants with experience in teaching as well as applicants with a practical background as an accountant or controller professionals are invited to apply for this position.Typical courses taught include Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, Auditing and Corporate Governance.
A Master degree in Business Economics, International Business, Economics, Econometrics, Business Administration or equivalent. Applicants that have a specialization in Accounting or Finance are specifically invited. Fluent English writing and speaking skills as well as adequate computer skills are required. Experience with working in a Problem Based Learning environment is advantageous.
Fixed-term contract: 4 years.
