Job description

The Department of Technology and Operations Management (TOM) at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University Rotterdam seeks candidates to fill a temporary lecturer position in Mathematics, undergraduate level, for Business Administration students. The course is to be taught in Dutch. The appointment is to start 1 July 2019 until 30November 2019.

Required qualifications

Candidates should preferably have a PhD, relevant teaching qualifications, and a background in mathematics, applied mathematics or related discipline.

Prerequisite Qualifications:
Candidates should (preferably) have a PhD in mathematics, applied mathematics or related discipline with strong research, funding and teaching potential for consideration at the assistant professor level.

Fixed-term contract: 5 months.

Employment Conditions

The conditions of employment comply with the collective labour agreement for Dutch universities (CAO NU). Salary is subject to training and experience, and may vary from

€ 2,709.00 up to €4,274.00 (scale 10,0) gross per month, based on a full-time contract. Erasmus University Rotterdam has attractive employment conditions, which include a holiday allowance of 8 per cent, an end-of-year bonus of 8.3 per cent, and a generous number of vacation days. Favourable tax agreements may apply to non-Dutch applicants.
