With approximately 40,000 students, 4,000 members of staff and a range of course programmes covering almost every imaginable area, the Fontys University of Applied Sciences is one of the largest institutions of higher education in Holland.

At the 29 individual Fontys institutes, approximately 100 Bachelor programmes are offered in full-time, part-time, sandwich and in-house variants. In addition, 24 Master programme variants, 11 Associate Degree programme variants, as well as a number of short courses and training programmes are offered in urban centres around the country, primarily in the south of Holland. As well as providing education, by way of its 34 Lectorates, Fontys also focuses on research, knowledge innovation and contract activities.
