The Maastrichtse Studenten Volleybal Vereniging Fyrfad is an active volleyball association with approximately 180 members divided over 13 teams that all play in the regional Nevobo competition. This makes Fyrfad one of the largest students sport association in Maastricht! Within Fyrfad students can play at any level, from 4th class up to 1st class or in our beginners team. Fyrfad is more than just volleyball and plays a big role in personal development and social life of its members. We organise many activities throughout the year, from members weekend to attending Eredivisie or Liga matches, from our famous canti to Hajraa Outdoor. The teams themselves often become close friends during the season.
For the upcoming season (2023 – 2024) UM SPORTS is looking for a trainer for Fyrfad Ladies 1. The level of this team is Eerste klasse (1st class, 3rd highest regional level).

Start date:

Training hours:
3,5 hours per week. Day and time to be decided. Currently, the team practices Monday and Wednesday evening for 1,5 or 2 hours respectively.
Salary:
Commission at UM SPORTS in accordance with VSNU (UFO-profile sports instructor 3 or 4). A self-employed construction (zzp/ondernemer) may also be possible.

Temporary employment for 1 season; the temporary contract can be extended when performance is satisfactory.
The period in which you will work runs from 1 September – 1 July (excluding pre-set fixed and bank holidays). In this period of 40 weeks you will work 3,5 hours per week.
The vacancy concerns a job position within scale 7 (Sports Instructor 4, min € 2,471 and max € 3,336 gross monthly salary, with full-time appointment) or scale 8 (Sports Instructor 3, min € 2,818 and max € 3,764 gross monthly salary, with full-time appointment) in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement (CLA) of the VSNU (Association of universities in the Netherlands).
