Job description

Do you enjoy working in an innovative environment as part of the fun Finance & Control team in Lelystad? Then the position of Project Administrator is your new challenge.

For the Finance & Control department of the Animal Sciences Group (ASG), we are looking for an enthusiastic, customer-oriented, and accurate Project Administrator for the F&C team at Wageningen Bioveterinary Research in Lelystad, which consists of 6 permanent employees. In this exciting role:
  • you will perform financial administrative tasks, such as invoicing and providing support for the project controllers;
  • you will be responsible for accurate and timely invoicing, mailbox management, IC bookings, and processing milestones in Unit4 Business World;
  • you will ensure the correct use of general ledger accounts and VAT;
  • you will work independently with a high degree of responsibility and collaborate intensively with the direct colleagues of F&C;
  • you will work in Lelystad (partially working from home is an option).

Requirements

You will be a great addition to our team if you:
  • have completed an MBO+ education, preferably in a field related to the tasks;
  • have work experience in financial (project) administration;
  • are customer and service-oriented;
  • work accurately, with a focus on quality and results;
  • have a good command of Dutch;
  • have a proactive and flexible attitude;
  • are a team player.

Additionally, you recognize the following skills in yourself:
  • you are stress-resistant;
  • you are always looking for opportunities to further develop yourself.

In our international working environment, communication is increasingly conducted in English. For this position, a B2 language level is required. If you do not yet have this level, we will naturally assist you, and you can attend our language center, Wageningen in'to Language.

Here you will work
The Animal Sciences Group (ASG) is one of the five knowledge units of Wageningen University & Research. The Animal Sciences Group consists of Wageningen Livestock Research (WLR), Wageningen Bioveterinary Research (WBVR), Wageningen Marine Research (WMR), and the Department of Animal Sciences (DDW) of Wageningen University.

The core activities of ASG are scientific and practical research, academic education, and the development of (animal) production systems and innovations. ASG operates in the broad field of wild animals and production animals, from animal ecology to fisheries and aquaculture, from animal nutrition to animal management and systems, from animal disease control to food safety, and has an annual turnover of approximately €140 million.

The Department of Animal Sciences ensures and promotes internationally leading education and research in the field of animal functioning in nature and in relation to humans.

Finance & Control is a staff department of the Animal Sciences Group and consists of 6 teams that serve the different units. As a Project Administrator, you will be part of an enthusiastic F&C department with approximately 40 colleagues, and there is a pleasant, driven, and open working atmosphere.

This is a position for 16 hours per week. You will initially receive a one-year contract, which will be extended to an open-ended contract upon in mutual enthusiasm.
