Job description

As a Program Management Officer (PMO) at Eindhoven University of Technology, you play a crucial role in supporting and coordinating various programs and projects within our Human Resources Management Organization. You work closely with the Program Manager, Project Team, Topic Leads, Project Leads and other relevant stakeholders within the organization to ensure that the defined projects from HRM are completed on time, within budget and according to set quality standards.
 

What will you be doing?  
Organizational wide the SQUAD (Support QUAlity Drive) was started at TU/e in 2021. The SQUAD program is a TU/e wide program aimed at improving the quality of internal services. All support services go through this program at different times. For the HRM department the implementation includes a multi-year change program in which an important role is reserved for "the basics in order", more efficiency by standardization of processes and standardization of services. 

Besides having a Program Manager and Program Team we are looking for a Program Management Officer to play a key role in making the changes and arrange the necessary support and coordinating within the various programs within the SQUAD program. 

As Program Management Officer, you will have the following responsibilities: 
  • Support and advises the Program Team with planning & organization of the program; 
  • Support in stakeholder management activities (change and communication); 
  • Support in program planning and scheduling of program meetings and prepare program related meetings (supports/develops presentations); 
  • Support in resource and risk management; 
  • Monitor program budget; 
  • Ensure proper program document management and bring structure and ensures clear working agreements; 
  • Continuously monitor program quality and progress (effectiveness and efficiency); 
  • Pro-actively advises on program / process improvements; 
  • Supports project- and Topic Teams hands-on with their deliverables. 

Requirements

We are looking for a new colleague, who would like to contribute to a high-quality professional service in a personal culture and have the following profile: 
  • Completed a college or university degree, preferably in a relevant field; 
  • Proven multi-year experience in the Human Resource Management domain; 
  • Familiar with Program- & Project Management methods; 
  • Familiar with Agile/Lean & Change methodologies; 
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and multidisciplinary environment; 
  • You naturally seek collaboration and connection with HRM colleagues and teams; 
  • You are flexible and can easily adjust to changing circumstances; 
  • Familiar with the common Microsoft Office tools; 
  • Financial knowledge to manage the budget.
