Job description

As an experienced HR Policy Advisor on leadership development you will be part of our Policy Team. You'll also represent the TU/e in national policy projects and networks. For policy making we often collaborate with other Dutch universities, to exchange information and best practices.

As HR Policy Team, we provide strategic advice to various groups/stakeholders within the TU/e. For this reason, it's important that you position yourself well . In close cooperation with our stakeholders, we develop and implement strategic HRM policies,  derived from the overall TU/e strategy We aim to provide an integrated approach, where all components of the Employee Journey will eventually be included, fit together, contributing to the overarching TU/e ambition and strategy.  

Policy development, and its implementation, is realized in team collaboration. To implement new policies within the TU/e organization, you often work closely together with our specialists in Learning & Development, and our HR advisors.

The HR Policy team 
You will come to work in a coherent HR Policy, Development & Projects (PDP) team, which consists of Policy Advisors and L&D coordinators and specialists each with their own focus areas (think of Leadership, Recognition & Rewards, social safety, onboarding, well-being, diversity & inclusion and the performance & development cycle).

As HR PDP Team, we provide strategic advice to various groups/stakeholders within the TU/e, such as the HRM Management Team, the Executive Board, deans, directors, HRM colleagues, etc. Our team establishes links between the various policy programs and ensures the coherence of all components. We aim to provide an integrated approach, where all components of the Employee Journey will eventually be included, fit together, and contribute to the overarching TU/e ambition and strategy.

Requirements

As an HR Policy Advisor, you will be joining a small but connected team, that appreciates the fun factor as well. We are looking for a new colleague, who would like to contribute to a high-quality professional service in a personal culture:  
  • You are an experienced professional in the field of Human Resources. Plus you have proven experience in developing and implementing policies in the field of leadership development;  
  • You know how to communicate effectively with stakeholders at different levels within the organization and you have political sensitivity; 
  • Academic work and thinking level;  
  • You are a team player, but also comfortable in working independently;  
  • You are analytical, and you know how to take next steps with sometimes limited information;  
  • You naturally seek collaboration and connection; 
  • You have strong verbal and written skills in English (C level) and preferable in Dutch as well.

Conditions of employment

An exciting temporarily position for the period of at least 6 months within an international yet personal university. You are working in the heart of the Eindhoven city centre, on a green campus within walking distance of the central station.   • A monthly salary of a minimum €4.492 to a maximum of €6.986 for full-time employment, depending on your knowledge and experience (scale 11/12 CAO Dutch Universities);
