Education Coordinator EE (0.8 FTE)

In this role, you will be supporting bachelor's and master's programs offered by our department. As an Educational Coordinator focusing on administrative and organizational tasks, your primary responsibility will be the effective management of our three departmental programs: Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (BSc EE), Bachelor of Automotive Technology (BSc AT), and Master of Electrical Engineering (MSc EE). You'll work alongside colleagues including, Education Coordinators, Educational Designers, Quality Assurance, Policy Advisors, Academic Advisors, Program Leaders and the Program Director, reporting directly to the Manager of ESA EE.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Manage and oversee the effective implementation of the BSc EE, BSc AT, and MSc EE programs
• Taking the lead in streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency
• Contributing to curriculum development and optimization
• Organizing informative events for staff and students
• Providing guidance to program committees
• Contributing to the re-accreditation processes
• Assisting in the preparation of the annual education report and PER

• You have an academic background in education (sciences) and/or experience in managing educational processes
• Problem-solving abilities: Capability to identify issues and develop effective solutions
• Proficient in using web-based learning management systems
• Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy in all aspects of administrative work
• You have experience with the Dutch (higher) education system, experience within TU/e is a big plus
• Having affinity with STEM is a pre, but not a necessity
• You are keen to work in a large organization and see this as an opportunity to learn and develop
• Strong communication skills in English and Dutch, proficiency in Dutch is a necessity for this role

A position for 32 hours a week (0.8 fte), starting with a temporary appointment for 1 year, with the possibility of extension or, upon proven suitability and continuation in the position, a permanent employment contract is entered into immediately following this period. You are right in the middle of the students, on a green campus within walking distance of the central station. • A monthly salary of minimum €3.378 to maximum €5.331 for full-time employment, depending on your knowledge and experience (scale 10 collective labour agreement for Dutch Universities).
