Wageningen Social & Economic Research is looking for a Senior Researcher on the effects of manure policy on agricultural operations, who will be responsible for the organisation, management, and quality of the monitoring network.
In this role, you will be the point of contact for the management of the monitoring network, the results of the use of panel data, and translating these into valuable insights for governments, sector organisations, and agricultural businesses. Your knowledge is crucial for the National Monitoring Network for Manure Policy Effects (LMM). In addition to these tasks, you will also participate in projects that investigate the relationship between agriculture, the environment, and nature. You will collaborate with other departments of Wageningen University & Research and knowledge partners.
As a Senior Researcher on the effects of manure policy on agricultural operations, you will be a key link within the Performance & Impact Agrosectors expertise group. This group consists of passionate professionals dedicated to sustainable agriculture and a vital countryside. Within this group, economic sector studies are conducted for governments, sector organisations, and businesses, and independent advice is provided based on scientific insights. The projects you will work on are very diverse, ranging from monitoring and scenario studies to measuring sustainability performance of sectors and businesses, and policy evaluations and explorations.

Your contribution In this role, you will play a key role in the project management of the LMM, with a focus on data. You will contribute to:
- Coordinating and directing the data-related aspects within the project
- Ensuring the quality of panel data and weighting methodologies
- Setting up and managing samples for reliable analyses
- Conducting data analyses and research to generate valuable insights
- Clearly and effectively reporting progress to clients and partners
