The number of virtual environments and their diverse applications are increasing. The immersive virtual environments raise new questions whether the current regulatory framework is adept at regulating the virtual environments. The DIGI-APPS project researches the regulation and governance of the different virtual environments.
Your position
The post-doc will be expected to assist in the research project of the DIGI-APPS. This includes the publication of the special issue and conference organization. You will therefore be expected to be the primary point of contact for authors and assist in reviewing articles and conference organization.
Additionally, you will be required to do independent research into regulation and governance of Metaverse. Depending on your background you will either independently develop a research question or with the project’s principal researcher. The research should result in an article publication on regulating or governing the Metaverse.
You will be working in the DIGI APPS project and network which consists of researchers from various disciplinary backgrounds. You will therefore enter an international and diverse network of scholars working on Metaverse and digital environments. As the network is varied candidates from all disciplines are welcome to apply.
