Manager Learning Innovation (0.8-1fte)

Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM)’s Learning Innovation Team (LIT) is the primary innovation partner for all RSM educational programmes, ranging from large scale pre-experience programmes to exclusive executive teaching. In a partner role, LIT facilitates curriculum and course design and redesign projects and helps drive the school-wide educational quality, innovation and faculty development agenda.

This team is now looking for an ambitious manager to continue its successes and guide the team into the next phase of transforming RSM’s educational portfolio.

Job description

The LIT manager will hold line responsibility for a team of 6 to 10 educational psychologists, ensuring optimal value in all RSM education, while safeguarding a healthy culture, maintaining a good team atmosphere and stimulating further personal development.

Additionally, the LIT manager directs the financial viability of the team and is free to explore new opportunities for added value within the whole school.

Required qualifications

1. A relevant qualification at least at MSc level. A PhD degree is considered a plus

2. Experience in line management, developing and inspiring teams

3. Experience with innovative curriculum or course (re)design

4. Experience working in higher education is a plus

5. Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively manage and facilitate groups

6. Proven process optimization skills

7. Excellent command of both Dutch and English (CEFR C1)

Salary is subject to training and experience and may vary from a minimum of €60K to €86K per annum (CAO NU scale 12-13), based on a full-time contract of 38 hours.
