Job description

The Department of Finance at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM) invites applications for a part-time Lecturer in Finance (0,4 fte). The starting date is 1 January 2020. This is a temporary position, until 30 June 2020.

The lecturer position involves the supervision of 20 master theses. RSM’s MSc Finance & Investments programme teaches a world-class, one-year general finance curriculum, where students follow compulsory and elective courses and write a thesis.

Required qualifications

Successful applicants are expected to have a PhD degree in finance, accounting or economics, and demonstrate a strong interest in teaching at the MSc level and a proven track record in this respect.

Employment conditions

The conditions of employment comply with the collective labour agreement for Dutch Universities (CAO NU). The lecturer appointment runs from 1 January 2020 until 30 June 2020. Erasmus University has attractive employment conditions, which include a holiday allowance of 8 per cent, an end-of-year bonus of 8.3 per cent, and a generous number of vacation days.
