Chair group PhilosophyThe chair group of Philosophy is part of the Department of the Social Sciences of Wageningen University and consist of dedicated scientists who work together in research and teaching in practical philosophy, with a focus on animal/environmental ethics, public health and food ethics, communication theory and development, and philosophy of technology. Our mission is to contribute to ethical reflection as a basis for responsible policies and practices in the Wageningen life sciences and social sciences domains. We closely collaborate with innovation and communication sciences in the section Communication, Technology and Philosophy, and we are part of the 4TU Centre of Ethics and Technology.
